Soprano

She was born in Bern (Switzerland). She began her singing studies in Bern, as well as jazz saxophone and composition at the Fribourg Conservatory (Switzerland); graduating with success in the years 1986 and 1987 respectively. She continued her studies to improve her singing technique in Zurich (Switzerland), at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, and finally at the National Opera Theater in Vienna (Austria).

She has been awarded in various international competitions, as well as she has also made recordings as a solo singer and as a saxophonist for radio and television in Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and Argentina. She has made a large number of concert tours accompanied with piano and with ensembles in the countries of Italy, Switzerland, Austria, USA, Israel, Argentina, Germany, etc. Esther Feingold is regularly invited to sing as a soloist accompanied by symphonic orchestras, among them with the Orquesta Mùsica Sinfonia Global de Càmara de Berna (CH), the Philarmonia de Chicago (USA), the Sinfonica de Tucuman, the Sinfonica de Bahia Blanca (Arg. ), etc.

As a saxophonist and integrating different groups, she has performed in cities such as New York, Chicago, Vienna, etc., as well as at the Montreux and Lugano Festivals in Switzerland. Her musical creativity is highlighted in works for solo, jazz quartet, and Big Band. Thanks to the variety of her musical education, her excellent technique, and her vocal quality, she is able to sing in different styles, be it opera, classical music, or jazz.
